Theatre of Spontaneity
Sunday 26 May 2019
at 6.00 pm. for 6.30 start – 8.30 finish
'The person I was as a child.
Today I am...
Your future Imagined.'
Presenter: Sue Daniel
Past, present, future, all our experiences serve to make us who we are. Through our relationships, our choices, we create and are created by the world around us. In this May Theatre of Spontaneity we can pay homage to our young self, our friends or family, music, literature, and the circumstances that brought us to now, and peep into a possible future.
On the last Sunday of every month, the Moreno Psychodrama Society holds a Theatre of Spontaneity (ToS). Each ToS presenter provides a theme and/or will work with material from the group, so just bring yourself to this unique and refreshing event. Jacob Levy Moreno, the founder of the psychodrama method, created the first Theatre of Spontaneity in Vienna in 1923 to explore through enactment, connection, moments of interest, social themes and current events occurring in the community and the greater society.
Come along to our Theatre of Spontaneity and experience new perspectives, explore new roles, share your stories and journeys.
Sue Daniel is a psychodramatist, director of the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne, and founder of the Moreno Psychodrama Society. She is also a psychologist and an individual and group psychotherapist. Sue likes adventures and as a child enjoyed climbing trees.
